This cube can/must make valid 45 degree turns on the Equator middle slice. Compulsory Mixup if you will.
IRL the middle centers (="edges"), in the solved state, are too wide to enable upward/downward moves. They must be put at the edge positions. The middle edges become "centers", with orientation.
First Cross: note the orientation of the middle layer "centers".
Parity Last Layer: flip a middle "edge", by ejecting with RH (or LH) algorithm, and then re-insert with the same algorithm.
