Key 6 : Key for Pattern Color
Black featherparts can be diluted to blue, lavender, chocolate, khaki, splash, or white. Note that sexlinked barring can also dilute black to a blue tint.
The chicken has black feathers or a black pattern on some of its feathers.
Ignore irregular flecks of black in white or blue (gray) areas.
Also choose this option for all over barred birds that have a darkgray darker color. They may have a few black feathers.
